Throughout my time at The Frameyard, I've made significant contributions to animated promotional projects from major clients like Supercell and Metacore Games. As a budding 3D generalist, I do a little of everything—from repairing broken assets and rigs, to modelling and texturing major set pieces, to plenty of lighting and rendering tailored for the one brave compositor. Working in a small remote team of varied artists allows me to learn a lot about different steps in the animation pipeline, and teach those coming after me what tips and tricks I've gathered over time.

STREET CAT POLITICS


Mentee with Pixelles' Game Incubator XI, 2023

I applied to and was selected to participate in 2023's annual Game Development Incubator with Pixelles hosted in Montréal, Québec. Through their 8 week program, I learned the principles of game design and successfully created my very first game in Unreal Engine 5.1.1. With some help from mentors and intense self-study, I designed, modeled, animated, and coded every asset and function in Street Cat Politics with no prior experience in game development. My game and the work of 11 other participants were showcased at EA Motive on November 30th, 2023. Street Cat Politics is available to download on itch.io here.
